For a serious CV, please see my actual CV, or have a look at my pioneering research in AI.
![]() Professionally and by inclination, I am at core an inventor. Years ago I went to Cambridge, and then London. Some people see me as eccentric, though who knows why... |
![]() Most of my R & D has, of course, been in the field of AI. Some of my work has been on physical electronic gadgets, often using "tiny AI" in micro-controllers. My most exciting work in this area has been on prosthetic senses. |
![]() I often give talks, and am a member of the British Computer Society's AI interest group committee, and help organise its annual AI conference in Cambridge. I am available to speak on the application of AI at corporate and academic events. |
![]() I used to be a councillor, until I was ejected by my party group for preferring the welfare of the most vulnerable in our society to the interests of the party. |
![]() I am still fascinated by astronomy. |
![]() Though sadly much of my time is wasted as an executor. (Never be one, it is a thankless task as an unpaid administrator and tax inspector.) |
![]() My interests are paragliding... |
![]() flying (and I have written about my thoughts on AI in aviation) |
![]() and sailing |
![]() I trained in Karate over a thirty year period. |
![]() And I also play the Spanish guitar when the house is empty. |
![]() When I worked in a French Chateau the genuine Cordon-Bleu chef taught me... how to speak French! |
